Guardians of the Angel BeesWe will travel to meet Natalia—sister of the curandero Mauricio—and her partner Umi on their land, spending time with a family deeply intertwined with their natural environment.Natalia will introduce us to the fascinating angel bees, tiny stingless bees native to the Amazon rainforest, and the unique, medicinal honey they produce.Rooted in the ancestral practices passed down to Natalia, a traditional eye-cleansing ritual using this sacred honey may be offered to those who feel called. This experience is entirely optional and will be fully explained beforehand to ensure everyone feels comfortable and informed.
